Just a short note to let everyone know that water is flowing in the village of Bagyame. Binta, her family, and her whole village no longer have to make an 8 mile round trip just to retrieve muddy, filthy water needed to survive. They can now pump this vital life source just steps from their homes allowing much more time in their days to accomplish new tasks and help break the cycle of poverty.
A special thank you to EGBF for drilling and completing this project as well as educating the community in well maintenance.
We also want to give a shout out to our feet on the ground, Aline and Martin in Burkina Faso. These caring individuals played an integral part in making this dream a reality for the beautiful people of Bagyame.
COMING SOON: Bagyame gets a school! The Sonder Project will be traveling to the village of Bagyame next month to build a primary school which will allow the children the opportunity to get an education, giving these kids another stepping stone on the path to success.
